The pinnacle of Poecilotheria? Some seem to think so. This gorgeous species is a dream for many of those who love colorful, old world, arboreal species.
This darker coloration on this species give a pop to the ivory colored markings that cover the body and legs, which have orange highlights!!. In the light, this species even appears purple and can vary greatly from individual to individual!
Subfusca highland tends to be a bit smaller (about 6") and darker than the lowland counterpart. This also happens to be one of the most variable tarantulas in the hobby so it is very fun to raise siblings to see how different they will be.
This species does have a lighter and darker color form that does seem to be random and unique to every individual in varying degrees.
NOTE: This species cannot be purchased for over state line shipping. Shipping and local pickup are available in NC as this is where we are located. We can not sell these across state lines.
